Since he took over in July 2018, Luis Enrique was in charge of 48 Spain games.

Relevo have compared the data of the last six national team coaches: Luis Aragones, Vicente del Bosque, Julen Lopetegui, Fernando Hierro, Robert Moreno and Luis Enrique.

In the top 3, there is Vicente del Bosque (76.3% win rate), Luis Aragonés (70.4% win rate) and Lopetegui (70%). Robert Moreno comes in with a 66.7% win rate, but only managed six encounters.

Luis Enrique won 27 of his 48 games in charge of Spain and therefore has a win rate of 56.3%. He is ahead of Fernando Hierro. Hierro, with only 25% of wins, was only in charge of the national team in Russia 2018.

If we only measure the balance of the World Cup, Hierro has had the same results as Luis Enrique in Qatar: four games, just one win and a defeat in the Round of 16.
