Hojlund Leads The Line, Antony Returns To Action | 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted XI Vs Brentford | OneFootball

After experiencing their most challenging beginning to a Premier League season, Manchester United will once again encounter the frustrated Old Trafford supporters this Saturday when they clash with Brentford in a Premier League match. In their midweek Champions League match, the Red Devils suffered a 3-2 defeat against Galatasaray, while the Bees secured a 1-1 draw away to Nottingham Forest in their most recent outing.

Erik ten Hag will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first XI for this game. Antony will return to action after being suspended due to the allegations while Jonny Evans would get the nod over Victor Lindelof in the backline.

Defence

Andre Onana will function in goal for the Mancunian club after shipping in two goals in his last outing. Raphael Varane will form a defensive partnership with Jonny Evans at the heart of Man United’s backline as they try to keep the opposition attackers at bay throughout the game.

Diogo Dalot will feature as the right-back while Sofyan Amrabat continues on the other flank as the left-back. Ten Hag will ask both of them to keep things solid defensively and offer some decent service from the wide areas.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will be named on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Mason Mount and Casemiro will anchor the midfield for Man United as they try to win the possession at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Antony will function just ahead of them as part of ten Hag’s attack. Both Fernandes and Antony need to figure out a way to create a few inviting chances for their teammates to score.

Christian Eriksen and Alejandro Garnacho will be named on ten Hag’s bench.

Attack

Rasmus Hojlund will lead the line for the Red Devils on the attacking end of the field. He  would be desperate to make a difference for Man United in this home encounter.

Anthony Martial will be available for selection on the bench.
