Manchester United will face off against Galatasaray at Rams Park on Wednesday evening as they try to secure a good result on their travels in the UEFA Champions League. The Red Devils managed to secure a 3-0 victory against Everton recently which would keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.

Man United boss Erik ten Hag will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this clash versus the Turkish outfit. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Antony will get a chance to impress from the start of this game.

Defence

Andre Onana will feature in between the sticks for the Red Devils after securing a clean sheet in his last outing. Harry Maguire will function alongside Victor Lindelof at the centre of the Man United backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.

Diogo Dalot will hope to prove his worth as the right-back while Luke Shaw looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be keen on getting forward and offering enough support to the front players.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will provide cover for the right-back position on the bench.

Kobbie Mainoo and Scott McTominay will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Antony will play just ahead of them as part of Man United’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Mancunian club are to secure a good result in midweek.

Marcus Rashford will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second half if required.

Attack

Rasmus Hojlund is a major doubt for this game but should get a chance to lead the charge for the Red Devils if he can pass a late fitness test.

Anthony Martial will be on stand-by on ten Hag’s bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if needed.
