According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is among Antonio Conte’s targets at Napoli.

Conte is on the verge of being appointed as the new Napoli coach, and according to the latest report of Il Corriere dello Sport,  Spurs midfielder Hojbjerg is among the transfer targets of the Italian tactician.

The newspaper claims Conte wants to keep Stanislav Lobotka and André Zambo Anguissa, while Michael Folorunsho will return to the Stadio Maradona after a convincing loan spell at Hellas Verona.

Hojbjerg had been linked with Napoli and Juventus in the January transfer window. Ex-Bianconeri director Giovanni Manna, now at the Stadio Maradona is also an admirer of the Dutch midfielder who picked an Italian agent in March.

On the other hand, Jens Cajuste’s future is uncertain as the Frenchman failed to impress in his debut season with the Partenopei.

Conte is expected to sign his contract with Napoli over the next 48 hours. The Italian tactician will push to extend Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract.

Il Corriere dello Sport confirms that Conte is prepared to part ways with Victor Osimhen and has identified Romelu Lukaku as the ideal replacement for the Nigerian star. Viktor Gyökeres, Strand Larsen, Lorenzo Lucca, Artem Dovbyk and Serhou Guirassy are also on Napoli’s radars.
