Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they try to secure a victory in the Premier League. The North London club managed to earn a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this home game.

Angelos Postecoglu will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a few changes to his first team for this clash. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal would get a chance to impress from the start of this game.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for Spurs after securing a clean sheet in his last league appearance. Ben Davies will resume his defensive partnership with Cristian Romero at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they try to keep things solid at the back throughout the 90 minutes.

Pedro Porro will keep his spot at right-back while Emerson Royal hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Eric Dier will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Pape Matar Sarr, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Dejan Kulusevski will make up Tottenham’s midfield as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to be at their best if Spurs are to win the 50-50 battles in midfield.

Oliver Skipp will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.

Attack

Heung-min Son will get an opportunity to make a difference from the left wing while Brennan Johnson hopes to impress on the right flank. Richarlison will spearhead the North London club’s attack in the final third. The Brazilian forward would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet this weekend after doing so against Nottingham Forest recently.

Bryan Gil will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Spurs are in need of a goal by then.
