Hoffenheim find their Stach replacement from Stoke

TSG Hoffenheim are set to sign former Netherlands U21 international Wouter Burger, according to John Percy, a reporter for the Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph. The Bundesliga side are finalizing a €20 million transfer of Anton Stach to Leeds United.

Meanwhile, Burger is only going to cost them around €4-5 million based on the report. The news also confirmed that he’ll fly out for medical later today. Burger joined the Championship club for €5 million a couple of years ago.

The former Feyenoord midfielder played 78 games in England’s second-tier in the past two seasons. Andreas Schicker has already completed five signings in his first summer transfer window as Hoffenheim’s sporting director.
