Hoffenheim and Augsburg interested in PSG midfielder Édouard Michut | OneFootball

On his return from a successful loan spell at Sunderland in the Championship, young midfielder Édouard Michut has been training Paris Saint-Germain’s “undesirables” squad, made up of the players that the Ligue 1 champions have effectively transfer listed.

According to Foot Mercato editor Sébastien Denis, the 20-year-old could be set for another move away from France. Bundesliga sides Hoffenheim and Augsburg have enquired about a potential transfer. The French youth international has previously made eight appearances with the PSG first team, registering one assist in Ligue 1.

Michut himself had indicated earlier this summer that he turned down the chance to remain with the Black Cats, owing to disagreements over a prospective permanent contract. He played 28 times during his season in the north-east of England, playing a major part in an impressive campaign that saw the team reach the play-offs, before losing out in the semi-finals Luton Town, who would eventually earn promotion.
