Hockenjos re-elected as chair of stadium operators' association | OneFootball

Dr Christian Hockenjos, director of organisation at Borussia Dortmund, has been re-elected as chair of the board of the Association of German Stadium Operators (VdS).

Dr Christian Hockenjos was elected chair of the board of the Association of German Stadium Operators (VdS) for a further two years at the VdS general meeting in Stuttgart's MHP Arena. Borussia Dortmund's director of organisation has been a member of the VdS Executive Committee since it was founded in 2007 and has been chair of the board since 2020.

The Association of German Stadium Operators elects a board from among its members every two years, which serves as the first point of contact for members, associations and service providers in the industry. Hockenjos' deputies Jürgen Muth (Bayern Munich) and Stephan Lemke (Eintracht Braunschweig) were also re-elected.

The VdS is an association of all operators of large event venues that are authorised for international sporting events such as football matches, concerts and similar major events.
