The Rebaño Femenil will begin its adventure in the Apertura 2024 on the border of the Mexican Republic, when it visits FC Juárez this Thursday night in a place it knows perfectly and which brings back fond memories on the opening matchday.

It was in the Apertura 2019 that they met for the first time with the induction of the equine team to the pink circuit. On that occasion, Kinberly Guzmán secured the 3 points for Guadalajara with a solitary goal at the Akron Stadium.

Since then, there have been 9 more editions of the duel between the Chingonas and the Bravas, where the balance has undoubtedly been on the red and white side. Of the 10 meetings, six have gone to the Rebaño Sagrado, with two draws and two wins for the Girls in Green. The goal-scoring record is overwhelming for the Rebaño, who have scored 13 goals against the Chihuahuenses and allowed only 4.

Curiously, the 2020/2021 season saw both teams face each other on the opening day of both the Apertura and Clausura. In both cases, the result was a win for the Chingonas, who won away in AP20 and won again at the Fortaleza Rojiblanca in CL21.

In case you were missing an additional fact, the biggest scoreline also belongs to Chivas Femenil, on opening day of AP20, when the Chiverío beat the Bravas 4-0 on the northern border of our country.
