In the 1997/98 season, Real Madrid hosted Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabéu on matchday 14 and Seedorf sealed the victory for the Whites with the third goal of the encounter. The centre midfielder latched onto a loose ball on the edge of the penalty and fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner.Seedorf made 159 official appearances for Real Madrid and scored 20 goals in his time at the club, clinching 2 European Cup, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 1 League title and 1 Spanish Super Cup.
