Butragueño is the star of the latest installment of Historic Goals. The forward arrived in the first team after shining during his time with Castilla. He led the Quinta del Buitre , standing out for his pace, dribbling and superb technical quality.
In the 1983/84 campaign, Real Madrid visited Cádiz on matchday 22. It was 5 February 1984 and Butragueño made his Real Madrid debut in a clash which Cádiz were winning 2-0 at the break. The forward came on at half time and hit two goals to fire the madridistas to an impressive comeback (2-3). Butragueño made 463 appearances, scoring 171 goals for Real Madrid. He also clinched 15 trophies: 2 UEFA Cups, 6 LaLiga titles, 2 Copas del Rey, 1 Copa de la Liga and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
