There is a good chance that Hiram Mier will actually be ready to play this weekend when Chivas face Necaxa.
His injury to his right ankle that he suffered against León apparently will not be an impediment for the central defender to be present on the Chivas back-line.
Mier trained on both Wednesday and Thursday, though he opted to work separate from his team-mates.
Although the triumph against León brought great optimism to the club, Vucetich knows that he cannot afford to continue without his best players, so it wouldn’t be surprising for Mier to come on in the second half.
In case Mier does not get the start, the options to replace him would be Gilberto Sepúlveda and Luis Olivas.
