A look at some of what those at Ewood Park will want before the transfer window closes
Blackburn Rovers are starting to get their business done in the summer transfer window.
After a quiet start to the market in terms of incomings, the Ewood Park club have secured their first additions of the market this week.
But after a season in which they only narrowly avoided relegation from the Championship, there is still more work to do to strengthen John Eustace's squad in what remains of the summer.
Indeed, with the departures from the club that are also being confirmed, many supporters will be hoping to see more depth brought into the side as well.
So with that in mind, we've taken a look at four deals that if they happened, would surely leave Blackburn Rovers supporters in dreamland.
One of the club's most successful signings of the 2023 summer window, many at Ewood Park were left disappointed when Bournemouth loanee James Hill was recalled by his parent club in January.
However, reports from transfer guru, Alan Nixon, have now suggested that Rovers could look into another loan move for the 22-year-old this summer.
Already, many fans have expressed their desire to see such a deal happen, and it would be important for the Lancashire outfit to get it done.
Hill was excellent during his last spell with the club, impressing at both centre-back and right-back, two positions where Blackburn are currently lacking in depth ahead of the new campaign.
When it was confirmed back in January that a loan move to Ipswich Town had been sanctioned for club captain Lewis Travis, many Rovers fans were left surprised and disappointed.
Indeed, there was a sense of frustration for fans watching him play a bit-part role for the Tractor Boys, while his parent club lacked his tenacity and leadership in their battle against relegation.
The return of Travis this summer was therefore a welcome one, although there are now reports from Alan Nixon that Stoke City are taking an interest in a deal for the 26-year-old.
But given how he was missed in the second-half of last season, that is surely not a deal that Blackburn fans will want to see happen.
Both of the club's senior goalkeepers - Aynsley Pears and Leo Wahlstedt - made some costly errors last season, and the latter has already been sold after just a single season at Ewood Park.
As a result, a new goalkeeper to provide cover and competition for Pears does feel like it is needed, and one who could be useful to consider for that role is Daniel Iversen.
The Dane has plenty of Championship experience from loan spells with Preston and Stoke, though he has yet to establish himself at parent club Leicester, which could mean he is available.
It is unlikely that he would be a cheap signing, but if Blackburn are to reinvest a sizeable amount of the money that has been brought in from recent sales this year, the 27-year-old may just about be affordable, in what would be a major statement of intent from the club.
Despite the additions of Makhtar Gueye and Yuki Ohashi, other departures mean it looks as though Eustace's side still need some extra depth in attack.
According to reports from Alan Nixon, Rovers have taken Andreas Weimann on trial, with the Austrian international a free agent after the expiration of his contract with Bristol City at the end of last season.
The 32-year-old would bring with him plenty of experience at Championship level, as well as his attacking versatility and ability to get goals in this division.
His availability on a free also keeps funds in the budget for other potential signings, and so this could arguably be seen as a sensible piece of business if Blackburn do get it done this summer.
