Yesterday’s win, coupled with wins for leaders Glasgow City and third placed theRangers means that Celtic remain three points behind City at the top of the SWPL and a point ahead of the current SWPL1 Champions.

Here’s the Unique Ange…

Celtic had to wait until injury time of the first half to break the deadlock in what was an uncharacteristically lacklustre first half performance from this Celtic team. However just seconds before the half-time whistle a Maria McAneny corner was met by that Celtic warrior Chloe Craig and her powerful header was simply unstoppable.

It was a Jacynta corner on 56 minutes that was headed towards the Aberdeen goal by Irish international central defender Claire O’Riordan. Annalisa McCann in the Aberdeen goal tried her best to prevent Celtic doubling their lead but the power beat her and the ball via another deflection ended in the back of the Aberdeen net.
