A round-up of the latest Tottenham news, including updates on Heung-Min Son’s return, a transfer exit and Lucas Bergvall’s introduction.
Tottenham star Heung-Min Son is set to return to the club after South Korea’s exit from the AFC Asian Cup. The Taegeuk Warriors were dumped out of the competition in the semi-finals, following a 2-0 defeat to Jordan.
It means a heartbreaking end to the tournament for Son, who will now be returning to Spurs for the remainder of the campaign. According to South Korean journalist Sungmo Lee, the forward will fly back to England “right away”, while Alasdair Gold adds that he should be back with Tottenham on February 8.
It means the star could be back in contention for an appearance against Brighton, with a push for the top four still on the cards.
