With the summer transfer window approaching, Tottenham could bid farewell to one of their biggest stars.
Amidst various transfer rumours, including the recent speculation surrounding Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze, a new report has emerged that could mean a significant loss for Spurs.
As we have previously discussed, Tottenham captain Heung-Min Son has faced increasing criticism from the media in recent months, which may be affecting his mindset on the pitch.
As a result, speculation about his potential departure this summer has intensified.

According to reports from CaughtOffside a few weeks ago, Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal are the two clubs most interested in securing the services of the Spurs captain.
Furthermore, the outlet claims both clubs are willing to pay as much as £41.4 million for Heung-Min Son.
It is worth remembering that Heung-Min Son remains under contract with Spurs until June 2025, following his renewal with the club.
However, it remains unclear whether Tottenham will attempt to extend his stay beyond next summer.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, former Spurs scout Bryan King suggested that Son could be tempted by an offer from the Saudi clubs.
"I believe at this stage in his career, Son could accept that deal," King stated.
He continued: "This move will interest Son and his representatives because he’s at an age now where he isn’t going to be making too many more big moves."
"This might be the final big move for Son, and £40m is the sort of figure that would certainly cause a bit of interest."
Losing Heung-Min Son could have both emotional and financial consequences for the club.
The 32-year-old South Korean remains a key figure, not just among Spurs supporters but also on the international stage, where he has a massive following.
Son’s performances have gradually declined, something that has been noticed both internally and on the pitch.
As GIVEMESPORT recently reported, the captain’s place in the starting XI is increasingly being questioned.
It remains to be seen how Son’s future at Tottenham unfolds. The South Korean has devoted much of his career to the club, with the dream of finally lifting a trophy in Spurs colours.
