Kevin-Prince Boateng is returning to his Berlin roots and rejoining Hertha BSC, the club has confirmed.
Born and raised in the German capital, Boateng began his career with Hertha and has since embarked on a nomadic career which has seen him play in the Premier League, Serie A, LaLiga, the Turkish Süper Lig and also represent Ghana at three World Cups.
And after leaving Italian Serie B side Monza, the 34-year-old is now going back to where it all began.
Boateng is currently working as a Euro 2020 pundit for German TV station ARD and will join up with his new team-mates for pre-season training in early July.
