Henry Martín has returned to team training with América but is reportedly unlikely to feature in Saturday’s clash with Tigres.

The striker injured his hamstring in last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Mazatlán, leading to his withdrawal from the Mexico squad for Wednesday’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Paraguay.

TUDN reports that Martín took part in Thurday’s session for the Azulcrema, but the club are exercising caution in terms of his return to playing.

Roger Martínez, who has been sidelined since injuring his thigh in the opening game with Atlas, is considered further along the path to recovery.

The Colombia attacker is almost certain to make his return against Tigres, or in Tuesday’s clash with Atlético San Luis.
