América striker Henry Martín has been really impressive in the 2019 Clausura season, scoring nine goals and adding four assists in 19 games in all competitions.
Now, manager Miguel Herrera believes that the striker deserves a raise and admitted that arrangements have been made to make this possible.
“Without any doubt (it deserves an increase), Santiago (Baños) is talking to his representative to raise his salary,” said Herrera.
Henry Martín joined América from Xolos in 2018 for an undisclosed fee and has earned five caps with the Mexican national team.
In 62 games since joining Azulcrema, Martín has scored 22 goals and dished out 10 assists.
