Spanish coach Javier Pereira is being considered at Sheffield United.
The Examiner reports Pereira is the latest to be linked with the vacant Sheffield United position.
The Spaniard has already had spells in England as Slavisa Jokanovic's right-hand man at Watford and Fulham and was credited for having a huge influence on the Serbian's style of play and double promotion-winning success.
Reports claim Blades owner Prince Abdullah and his footballing confidant Jan van Winckel have identified Pereira as a possible candidate and have been impressed with the reports that have come back.
He is currently boss of Chinese Super League side Henan Jianye.
