Lauren Hemp has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month for November.

The winger was at her brilliant best for City in the WSL, netting two goals and grabbing one assist across three matches against Leicester City, Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.

Hemp’s first goal of the month came in our 4-1 comeback win away to the Foxes when she latched onto Georgia Stanway’s incisive pass in behind to smash home our third of the afternoon.

She turned provider against Aston Villa two weeks later, playing the ball back into the path of Caroline Weir for our opener at the Academy Stadium.

And she was on target herself soon after, tapping home after drifting in unmarked at the far post to meet Hayley Raso’s low ball across the face of goal.

The PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year faces stiff competition for November’s award from Reading’s Natasha Dowie, Chelsea’s Jessie Fleming, Arsenal’s Kim Little and Spurs defender Rio Percival.

Voting closes at midday on Thursday 2 December. You can cast your vote here.

Best of luck, Lauren!
