Manchester City were looking somewhat flat in the first half against Aston Villa, as the midlands club went in at half-time a goal to the good.
Gareth Taylorâs side needed a burst of inspiration to turn the game around, and England star Lauren Hemp did just that.
A moment of pure invention saw Man City draw level, as Hemp headed the ball into the air to give time and space for her to deliver a hooked shot into the back of the net.
And it was Hempâs sudden burst of pace and pull-back that provided the assist for Jill Roord to net her first goal since returning from a 249 day layoff from an ACL tear.
Man City really do look like a force to be reckoned with in the WSL this season.
