Hellas Verona have been in disastrous form this season and look at real risk of suffering relegation to the second tier. The team won their first two games of the term but haven’t tasted three points since, failing to secure victory since late August.
At one point, Verona were on a five-game losing streak but they’ve looked a little more positive in their last two matches, drawing Lecce 2-2 and Udinese 3-3.
Lazio have been unable to find consistency so far this campaign but will be hoping to build off their 1-0 win over Cagliari last weekend. The team also secured a win in their Coppa Italia Round of 16 clash with Genoa earlier this week.
Last season, the Biancocelesti secured a 2-0 win at home but drew Verona 1-1 away, a result they won’t be keen to repeat.
Hellas Verona are without the injured Pawel Dawidowicz, Giangiacomo Magnani and Davide Faraoni. Isak Hien is also at risk of missing the match due to a muscle issue.
Lazio cannot count on Alessio Romagnoli and Gustav Isaksen, both sidelined with injuries. Patric and Luis Alberto may not start as they are still working off muscle problems.
