It seems to be a case of when it rains it pours at all levels for AC Milan at the moment, as the Primavera side were beaten 4-0 by Hellas Verona on Sunday.

After the win against Atalanta last time out, hopes were high that Federico Guidi’s side could follow it up with another three points to get some positive momentum going, especially given that Verona were seven points behind in the table.

However, it was an afternoon to forget for Milan who collapsed and lost 4-0 against the Gialloblu, clearly feeling the impact of some absences due to injuries and call-ups for the Milan Futuro side. Milan practically never created danger, while Hellas looked like scoring each time they attacked.

Verona missed a penalty just seven minutes in through Agbonifo but then seven minutes later he made up for it by scoring the first goal of the game. Nwachukwu netted in the 43rd minute to make it 2-0 going into the break.

Just before the hour mark it was 3-0 to the home side as Pavanati scored from a corner with a completely uncontested header, then with 13 minutes left Vermesan bagged on the counter to complete the rout.

The Primavera however remain fifth in the standings and in the fight for the play-offs, but the derby is next week and things must improve.
