According to previous updates from the medical staff at Arsenal, Tierney, Bellerin and Mavropanos were all expected to return to training in October.
The club posted an update on Thursday morning, however, revealing the good news that all three should now rejoin full training next month. The trio are apparently “progressing well” with their respective comebacks.
We reported yesterday on the rumours that Tierney and Bellerin were set to feature in u23 matches after the international break, and it appears now that those were true. Having Mavropanos back early as well is just another boost.
Here are the youth games the three could potentially feature in after the international break next month:
As mentioned in our previous post, the Leicester game is at the Emirates Stadium, so if any of the three can be available for that one they’d be sure to get a great reception from the fans.
Additionally, Rob Holding and Emile Smith Rowe have now both completed 90 minutes for the u23s/u21s this week, as we already knew. They should be right on the verge of a first-team return now.
