HEART-BREAKER: Roma announce new ACL injury for Zaniolo

AS Roma have announced a new knee injury has been suffered by Nicolo Zaniolo.

The midfielder broke down during the Nations League qualifying win over Holland last night.

Zaniolo suffered an ACL injury to his right knee a year ago and it's been confirmed he's suffered a similar injury now to his left knee.

The youngster believes the setback was caused after getting his studs stuck in the turf.

Zaniolo will undergo surgery on Wednesday in Villa Stuart, where Lyon star Memphis Depay's knee was also operated on by Dr Pier Paolo Mariani.
