Tottenham captain Heung-min Son wasted no time in welcoming January signing Lucas Bergvall to N17 with a heartwarming text message.
The Lilywhites were able to provide Ange Postecoglou with some new faces over the course of the January transfer window.
But one of the three signings will not be available to the Australian until the summer, after Bergvall returned to Djurgarden on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Spurs were able to pull off a successful transfer hijack in the final days of the January window with the young Swede believed to be in talks with Barcelona.
According to Fabrizio Romano, after some consideration, Bergvall chose to make the move to north London after already deciding on the Spanish giants.
Perhaps one factor which helped Spurs in securing Bergvall’s services was his talk with his fellow countryman, Dejan Kulusevski.
However, it has since been revealed by Peter Kisfaludy – who spoke to Spurs reporter Alasdair Gold – what Son said to the 18-year-old following his arrival.
“Even Son texted with Lucas from the Asian Cup after he signed. He texted him ‘Welcome to Tottenham’ and Lucas was so happy about it,” Kisfaludy said.

This is just another example of why Son is not only adored by Spurs fans, but football fans in general.
Having been handed the captain’s armband in the summer following Harry Kane’s departure, it seems the Lilywhites have a real leader in their South Korean star.
Son has been missing from Spurs action over the last month due to the Asian Cup, however, they will be delighted to hear of his pending return following South Korea’s loss to Jordan on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old has been able to rediscover his best form this season having netted 12 goals and providing five assists in the Premier League.
But it is apparent he offers a lot more to the club than his performances on the pitch and Spurs fans will surely appreciate the effort Son has went to despite being away on international duty.
