Liverpool ace Sadio Mane is clear to be play for Senegal in their AFCON quarterfinal against Equatorial Guinea.
The Reds forward was forced to be withdrawn in his country's last-16 tie against Cape Verde in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Following a clash of heads with opposition goalkeeper Vozinha, who was sent off following a VAR check, Mane was substituted after appearing to feel the effects of the knock.
However, minutes after the collision, Mane scored a sublime goal to put his country in front and on the way to a 2-0 victory to reach the quarter-final.
After the game, Mane was taken to a local hospital and checked for any effects caused by the head injury.
Now, in a statement released by the Senegal Football Federation, Mane has been cleared to play in the match against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.
Senegal's doctor Abdourahmane Fédior announced: "All the symptoms he had on the pitch are gone. His condition requires fairly close monitoring. Everything is normal on the X-ray."
