Paolo Vanoli thinks Antonio Conte is focused on Tottenham

Speaking in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb as quoted by the Express, former assistant manager to Antonio Conte, Paolo Vanoli has claimed that he thinks that the Italian tactician is focused on Tottenham Hotspur despite Juventus’s interest in his services.

For quite some time now, Conte has been linked with a return to Turin with the Italian giants supposedly keen on bringing back their former manager to replace Massimiliano Allegri who has failed to convince.

Vanoli has been the technical coach of Conte during his time as the manager of the Blues and also acted as the assistant manager when the Italian tactician managed the national team before his Chelsea stint.

Antonio Conte assumed duties as the manager of the Lilywhites midway through last season replacing Nuno Espirito Santos and has since then been tasked with making Spurs trophy challengers again.

To be fair to the Italian, he has done pretty well during his time at Hotspur Way. There is still a long way to go before Spurs are genuine contenders but at least, he has gotten the team to believe.

Vanoli has no doubts regarding Conte’s commitment to Tottenham.

Speaking about Conte, Vanoli has claimed that he thinks that the Italian is very much focused on the Lilywhites.

Spurs made a number of signings this summer that really set the expectations right up there for the fans. The Lilywhites are expected to challenge for trophies this season and end their trophy drought.
