Max Eberl was full of praise of Adam Aznou after the highly rated full-back made his senior debut for Bayern Munich during the 3-0 win over Union Berlin.

Adam Aznou is regarded as one of the most exciting young players at Bayern Munich, and has already featured for the Morocco senior team. On Saturday, the 18 year old also made his first-team debut for FC Bayern as he came off the bench to replace Alphono Davies in the 80th minute.

After the game, Aznou was praised by both Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany, who backed him for more minutes in the team in the coming weeks and months.

"He's extremely talented," Eberl said about Aznou via Sky Sport. "He has incredible potential and that's why we're happy that he's now also made it to the professional ranks. Hopefully, there will be a lot more games to come for him."

"Adam has simply done very well in training and with the national team," Vincent Kompany said. "He can be proud. Now he just has to keep working."

Bayern Munich signed Aznou from FC Barcelona in 2022 and the youngster has risen through the club's youth team ranks over the last two seasons.

Adam Aznou has been a regular for the Bayern Munich U-19s and U-23s this season, and has one goal and one assist to his name in the UEFA Youth League. Capable of playing at both right-back and left-back, Aznou certainly has the potential to become a part of the Bayern senior team for years to come. And it will certainly be interesting to see how his development goes in the coming years.
