Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder feels that Blades youngster Femi Seriki gets fans off their seats when he drives at opposition players.
The Blades signed Seriki from League One outfit Rotherham United in the summer and he has been a backup for right-back Alfie Gilchrist.
On Tuesday, he made his first start of the season for Sheffield United against Oxford United and put in an impressive performance to help the Blades to a 3-0 win.
Wilder admitted that Seriki put in a confident and positive display against Oxford and stated that the young right-back will learn as the season progresses.
The Blades boss also pointed out that Seriki is good at driving at opposition defences, which gets the Sheffield United fans off their seats.
When asked about Seriki’s display, Wilder told Blades TV: “He was good; he was confident; he was positive.
“He is going to learn.
“He is good at running, good at running with the ball, good at driving at people and when he does that, he gets people off their seats.”
Seriki has featured so far nine times for the Blades in the league and he will be hoping to impress Wilder with his performances in upcoming games to seal a place in his starting line-up.
