After Crooks finished talking about Thiago, he went on to state that Salah is too focused on winning the Golden Boot.

With that being the case, Crooks believes that Salah is having an negative impact on some of his teammates.

Crooks wrote: “Mohamed Salah only seems interested in the Golden Boot and I think that is having a negative effect on some of his teammates.”

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Crooks is entitled to his opinion. Salah is a goalscorer, so he is naturally going to be more selfish on the football pitch. At the end of the day, the Egyptian international wants to score goals.

Salah has been unbelievable for Liverpool this season. The 28-year-old has scored 29 goals in 47 appearances.

Salah is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.06 across the 2020-21 campaign.

Without Salah, Liverpool would be worse off. There is no denying it.
