Chelsea will take on Everton as they welcome them to Stamford Bridge on Saturday night, hoping to take all three points from this home encounter. The Blues come into the match on the back of a splendid 3-1 victory over Leicester City, so we can expect them to be full of confidence for this weekend’s contest.

Graham Potter will probably utilise a 3-4-3 formation and is expected to keep the changes to a minimum for this match-up. Kai Havertz could lead the line down the middle for the Blues while Ruben Loftus-Cheek continues on the right flank in Reece James’ absence.

Defence

Kepa Arrizabalaga will function in between the sticks for the Blues after conceding one goal in his last outing. Wesley Fofana, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella could form the three-man backline as they focus on keeping the opposition at bay throughout the game.

Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta will be sidelined for this game. However, Benoit Badiahsile will be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Enzo Fernandez and Mateo Kovacic will anchor the midfield for the West London club as they look to dominate possession at the centre of the park.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek will continue as the right-sided player, while Ben Chilwell looks to impress from the opposite flank.

Dennis Zakaria and Conor Gallagher will be named on the bench as they wait for a chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix will operate in the left and right-wing, respectively, as they look to provide support from the wide areas.

Kai Havertz will lead the line for Chelsea in the final third. The German forward got his name on the scoresheet in his last outing and would fancy his chances of netting another goal for Chelsea this weekend.

Mason Mount remains unavailable due to injury, but Christian Pulisic will take a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
