Hasan Salihamidžić responds to talks of Karim Adeyemi 'meeting'

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić responded to reports that the club held talks with representatives of Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi.

The 19-year-old Adeyemi has been targeted by some of the world’s biggest clubs after scoring on his Germany debut and putting together a sensational 12-goal, two-assist campaign thus far.

Adeyemi was in the Bayern academy from 2009 to 2011 but Salihamidžić refused to discuss the rumours that the player could return to his former youth side.

“I can’t say anything about it. I do not want to comment on speculation as a matter of principle,” he told DAZN.

“It’s not fair to the other teams.”

Adeyemi kept up his hot start in the Champions League this week, scoring against Wolfsburg to send his total to three goals in the competition this season.
