Following a second successful loan spell in the 2. Bundesliga, 21-year-old midfielder Adrian Fein is finally ready to take his first-team chance at Bayern Munich.
Fein impressed with Hamburg after a fine stint with SSV Jahn Regensburg during the 2018-19 season.
Fein extended his Bayern contract until 2023 back in January and Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić hinted that Fein will have a big role to play in the upcoming season.
“Adrian is very talented. He trained with us and has also developed very well in his first two years as a pro,” Salihamidžić told Bayern Munich’s official website.
“Now we hope that he will take the next big step in his career with us in Munich.”
Fein was used mostly as a number six at Hamburg but can play higher up the pitch as a central midfielder. He featured 33 times last season, scoring a goal and dishing out four assists.
