Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is looking forward to Saturday’s heavyweight boxing clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury and Usyk will fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship this weekend, with the pair meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The fight was rescheduled from its original February date due to an injury sustained by United fan Fury, who heads to the Middle East after a controversial split decision victory over Francis Ngannou back in October.

Meanwhile, Usyk’s most recent fight came when he knocked out Daniel Dubois in August last year.

Maguire is relishing the prospect of watching Saturday’s massive fight, and he will be backing the Gypsy King to come out on top.

Maguire said (via The Sun): “I am really looking forward to it. It is a fight that everybody wants to see.

“We are both WOW Hydrate ambassadors and I have been in contact with Tyson over the last few years now so I will definitely be supporting him.

“I wish him all the best and hopefully he will get the job done like he has in all of his previous fights.

“He is a great guy. He is obviously like what you see on TV.

“I think it would be an amazing occasion for him to one day fight at Wembley. Maybe he will get an all-English fight against Anthony Joshua which would be one of the biggest fights in English history.”
