Harry Kane has been given the award for the top scorer across domestic first divisions in 2023 after the Bayern striker scored 38 goals in the previous calendar year. The 30-year-old England captain’s amazing achievement was honoured by IFFHS, the International Federation of Football History & Statistics.

The award takes into account the 100 best leagues in the world in 2023. Kane secured top spot thanks to his 21 goals with Bayern and his previous 17 in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign with Tottenham Hotspur.
