Hovering at the far post, Kane swept home from close range to give Bayern a 2-0 lead over Bochum.
A fifth domestic goal for Bayern in five games had him tied with Gerd Müller, Mirsoslav Klose and Mario Mandžukić for most goals in his first five Bundesliga outings.
But Kane added a sixth after the interval from the penalty spot to set a new club record as the Bundesliga champions racked up a 7-0 haul.
