Federico Chiesa is settling in at Liverpool, and his wife Lucia Bramani has already learned some local expressions: ‘Happy to be a scouser!’

Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus in August, signing a contract until June 2028.

The Italy international has been training separately all summer, so he was unavailable for a 3-0 win over Manchester United before the September break.

His wife, Lucia Bramani, has also moved to England and is settling in alongside his husband.

In his latest Instagram story, Mrs Chiesa showed the Italian winger smiling inside an empty Anfield. The story included the Liverpool anthem and a funny five-word message: ‘Happy to be a scouser.’

Though Manchester United fans used the term as an insult before Sunday’s derby at Old Trafford, Liverpudlians take pride in the word ‘scouser,’ and Chiesa’s wife shows she’s already learning the habits.

Due to fitness issues, Luciano Spalletti has not called up Chiesa for Italy’s games against France and Israel in September.
