Happy birthday, Jürgen!

A lethal forward in the box and a real fan favourite: Jürgen Klinsmann joined us in the summer of 1989.

During the three season that he represented our colours, Klinsmann scored 40 goals in 123 appearances in all competitions, playing a major part in our first ever Italian Supercup triumph (1990) and the first UEFA Cup victory in the club's history (1990-91). Alongside Lothar Matthaüs and Andy Brehme, they formed a historic German bond, which was key in the Nerazzurri's triumphs, and also in Germany's 1990 World Cup win.
