Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Saturday provides updates on the fitness of two leading members of his midfield ranks.
This comes amid concerns when it comes to their respective statuses for the club’s next outing.
Barcelona are of course set to return to action on Sunday night.
Fresh off a first defeat of the campaign in the Champions League in midweek, the Blaugrana will turn attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in a La Liga meeting with Villarreal.
No doubt desperate for an immediate return to winning ways, it therefore marked a source of concern for all associated with Barca when, earlier today, word was forthcoming that midfield duo Pedri and Marc Casadó were training away from the group.
Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference a short time ago, the subject of the wellbeing of both players, in turn, was put to boss Hansi Flick.
And the German tactician went on to quell any and all fears, in explaining:
“I believe Pedri and Casado will play against Villarreal. They’re feeling better. Casado was feeling much better yesterday afternoon and I think he will be able to play.”
