Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has been left more than satisfied by the exploits of a member of his defensive ranks over the early weeks of the season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Iñigo Martínez as the player in question.

Stopper Iñigo, for his part, has played an altogether prominent role for Barcelona to this point in the campaign.

In fact, owing to injuries suffered by both Ronald Araújo and Andreas Christensen, the 33-year-old has played every minute of the Blaugrana’s four La Liga fixtures to date.
