Hansi Flick informs two Barcelona youth team players that they will be on pre-season Asia tour | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has made known to two of the club’s up-and-coming talents that they will be part of his side’s pre-season tour of Asia.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Jofre Torrents and Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández as the pair in question.

Youngsters Torrents and Dro are part of a group of nine youth team talents to have been called up for senior training this week.

Amid ongoing preparations for the new campaign, Flick and his staff were eager to afford an opportunity to impress to as many young players as possible.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then two such starlets appear to have taken full advantage of this chance.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Flick has informed Dro and Jofre Torrents on Sunday that they will join the expedition that will leave on Thursday for Japan.’

Further youngsters could yet be called upon, too, but for the time being, attacking midfielder/winger Dro and left-back Torrents have done enough to secure respective places on the flight to Asia.
