Hansi Flick hints at two Barcelona youngsters being handed the chance to impress in pre-season | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has hinted two more members of the youth ranks in Catalunya’s capital are set to be called up for pre-season training.

The pair in question? Juan Hernández and Pedro Fernández.

The names of up-and-coming pair Juan and ‘Dro’ Fernández have positioned themselves centre stage in the chatter in Catalunya’s capital over the last couple of days.

This comes after the pair – a midfielder and attacker, both 17 – were called up to first-team training at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

After evidently doing enough to impress on Friday, Hernández and Fernández were back in the thick of things alongside Hansi Flick’s star-studded squad earlier today.

Speaking in his final pre-match press conference of the season on Saturday afternoon, it therefore came as little surprise when the names of both players were put to Barca’s headmaster himself.

And Flick went on to explain:

“Looking ahead to pre-season, we’ll see how things develop. What I saw from these lads (Juan and Dro) in today’s session I really liked.”
