Having managed to secure a triumphant 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final, FC Barcelona will be looking to finish the job tomorrow in Germany in the return leg.
Heading into the game, though, the message from Hansi Flick & co. is clear – there is simply no room for complacency despite the dominant performance and result from the first leg at Montjuic.
Despite that, though, the margin of the win allows the manager to make some changes and protect some of his regular starters, especially with the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid just around the corner.
As such, SPORT reports that Flick is considering making at least three changes to the lineup that took the field against Leganes in La Liga this past weekend when Barcelona take on Dortmund on Tuesday.
One of those changes is unavoidable: Alejandro Balde suffered a hamstring injury against Leganes and will be sidelined for at least two weeks. Gerard Martin is expected to replace him.
As Balde’s natural substitute, and with his strong recent form, Martin has Flick’s full trust heading into the key phase of the season.

Another expected change involves Inigo Martinez, who is one yellow card away from suspension and missing the first leg of the semi-finals.
What remains unclear is who will step in for him as Pau Cubarsi’s partner. Ronald Araujo started against Leganes but Eric Garcia took over the defensive duties after half-time, and his ball-playing ability may give him the edge.
Elsewhere, Gavi is also a likely candidate to start after Flick left him on the bench in Leganes, following another substitute appearance in the first leg against Dortmund.
Fermin Lopez, who has started the last two matches and performed well, could be the one to make way.
A starting role for Ferran Torres cannot be ruled out either. He scored twice at Signal Iduna Park earlier in the group stage and could offer a fresh attacking option. Robert Lewandowski may be in line for some rest, given the demanding fixture list ahead.
