Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that he is giving consideration to rotating his line-up for the club’s next outing.
Barcelona are of course set to return to action on Sunday evening.
Fresh off a thrilling midweek comeback victory over Benfica, the Blaugrana will turn attentions back towards domestic matters, in a La Liga meeting with Valencia.
Flick and co. head into the matchup aware that nothing but a victory will suffice, having slipped a full seven points off the top of the table in Spain’s top-flight.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Saturday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his personnel plans for tomorrow were put to Barca’s headmaster himself.
And Flick went on to confirm that midfielder Pedri is one of several key performers who could be afforded a rest against Valencia:
“Pedri is 100% fit. He is playing very well. He will continue to play, but I don’t know if he will start tomorrow. We need fresh legs, there may be several changes.”
