Glas has signed on with the American club until 2024 with an option to extend an extra year.

“I had very high expectations when I switched to Bayern. And my expectations were even exceeded. I’ve never experienced a season like the one in which we won the championship as a player or within a team. So I have achieved one of my biggest goals,” Glas said on her time in Germany.

“I will always remember the first game in the Allianz Arena against PSG – it’s great to have been part of this historic event. Munich and our team will always have a special place in my heart.”

Glas was a key member of Bayern’s squad over the last two and a half years, making 50 appearances for the club and won the league title in 2020/21.

Her most memorable moment was winning the best goal of the season by UEFA in the 2020/21 Women’s Champions League for her semi-final strike against Chelsea.

She will now continue her rehabilitation at her new club after tearing her cruciate ligament with a knee injury in the summer.
