Handanovic & D’Ambrosio Favorites To Start In Spezia Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash, Italian Broadcaster Reports | OneFootball

Inter captain Samir Handanovic and defender Danilo D’Ambrosio are likely to start in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match away to Spezia this evening.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair are favoured to start this evening’s match at the Stadio Alberto Picco ahead of Andre Onana and Denzel Dumfries respectively.

In goal, Handanovic could take his place in goal ahead of Andre Onana as he did in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against Udinese last month.

The idea would be to rest the Cameroonian in view of next Tuesday’s Champions League round of sixteen second leg away to Porto, as he had been done prior to the first leg of that tie.

Meanwhile, in defense it could be D’Ambrosio who starts on the right of the back three in place of the injured Milan Skriniar rather than Matteo Darmian.

In this case, Darmian would line up at right-wingback, with Denzel Dumfries on the bench.
