Recently, reports have been circulating that FC Bayern would like to have clarity by the summer as to whether and how Robert Lewandowski will continue at the GErman record champion. According to President Herbert Hainer, however, the Bavarians are not under any time pressure.

Lewandowski is still contractually bound to FC Bayern until 2023. In recent weeks, FCB officials have repeatedly emphasised that they would like to extend the contract. In an interview with “Sky”, Hainer reiterated Bayern’s intentions. However, the 67-year-old made it clear that the Munich team is not under any time pressure: “We still have some time with Robert Lewandowski. His contract still runs until 2023, but I would be happy if he finished his career with us.”
