Today marks three years since Erling Haaland was unveiled to Manchester City fans outside the Etihad Stadium.
The Norwegian has since helped us lift seven major trophies and established himself as a modern Premier League great in the process.
Still just 24 and contracted at the Etihad until 2034, there’s plenty more to come from our outstanding No.9.
But at moments like this, it’s important to reflect on everything he’s achieved in sky blue to date.
Having appeared for us just 146 times, there are already only 13 players who have ever scored more than him in our long, storied history.
He has 124 goals in total, including 85 strikes in the Premier League, 26 in the Champions League and nine in the FA Cup.
It took our man just 105 appearances to reach three figures for the Club, matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s record as the quickest to the 100 mark for a side in Europe’s top five leagues.
The backbone of this glittering success came in an astonishing first season, in which Haaland was an integral part of our historic Treble.
His 36 goals in the Premier League that term broke the record for most in a single season in the league’s 33-year history.
Meanwhile, he netted 12 times in the Champions League to help us to lift that famous old trophy for the very first time.
On the way, he became the quickest player ever to register 30 Champions League goals.
Amazingly, he hit six hat-tricks in his first season alone including a five-goal haul against RB Leipzig.
The total of 52 goals across all competitions was a club record and also the most ever scored by a Premier League player in a single campaign.
2023/24 earned Haaland his second Premier League Golden Boot in two years, becoming the first player ever to win the award in both of their first two seasons.
He scored 27 times in the Premier League that time around as we lifted a record fourth successive trophy.
Six came in the Champions League and five in the FA Cup, with another three hat-tricks across all competitions to add to the six the year before.
2024/25 was more difficult than previous for Pep Guardiola’s brilliant side, but Haaland kept up a rate of goalscoring that any striker would be proud of.
He found the net 34 times in 48 games, including 22 in just 31 appearances in the league.
Alongside an exceptionally prolific rate personally, he’s also provided 24 assists for his team-mates in total.
That’s not to mention the hard work off the ball and in keeping possession, which is a non-negotiable in Guardiola’s football and an area of the striker’s game the boss says has come on immeasurably since his move.
After just three seasons, Haaland’s trophy cabinet and goal haul at City is already one to be proud of.
Now, his sights will be set on chasing down the greatest goalscorers in the history of English football.
